Most of Singapore’s big events run to a steady rhythm. The IT fairs return to Suntec on the same months each year, the Chinese New Year bazaar fills Chinatown before the holiday, and Orchard Road lights up for Christmas in November. Once you know the pattern, you can plan a year ahead.
This Singapore events calendar lists the annual events by the month they usually happen, with a short note on what’s in each one. Exact dates move a little from year to year, so where an organiser has already confirmed the next edition we’ve added it. For dates in the coming months, check our What’s On pages, which are updated from official listings.
A few events don’t sit still. Festivals tied to the lunar or Islamic calendar drift each year, and some trade shows only run every second year. Those are covered in their own section further down.

IT and electronics fairs
If you’re after an IT fair in Singapore, you rarely have to wait long. The COMEXIT Group runs four consumer tech shows a year, all at Suntec Convention Centre, and all free to enter. Each one leans a slightly different way, so it pays to know which is which before you go shopping.
A second organiser, Hossey Events, runs the Smart Home Tech Show at Suntec about twice a year, usually once in the first half and once in the last quarter. It focuses on smart locks, cameras, lighting and home automation.
A few tips that hold for every show. Weekday afternoons tend to be quieter than weekends. Check the brand’s own price online before you queue, since not every booth deal beats a normal sale. If you plan to buy something bulky like a monitor or printer, ask whether the booth offers delivery.

Moving dates
For anything happening in the next six months, our trade shows and conferences listing, fairs and markets listing and free events listing carry confirmed dates, each linked to the organiser.
Yes. The Tech Show runs at Suntec Convention Centre in November and is free to enter. It is the last of four annual tech fairs by the same organiser, after IT SHOW in March, CEE in May and COMEX in September.
IT SHOW is held in March each year at Suntec Convention Centre. The organiser usually confirms dates a few months ahead.
The National Day Parade, the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix and the Singapore FinTech Festival, which draws more than 70,000 participants, are among the largest. For free public events, the Orchard Road Christmas light-up and the Marina Bay Countdown draw the biggest crowds.
Free to attend in most years: the Chinese New Year and Deepavali light-ups and bazaars, the Geylang Serai Ramadan bazaar, i Light Singapore, the Singapore Night Festival, the Orchard Road Christmas light-up, the Marina Bay Countdown, and the consumer fairs at Suntec and Singapore EXPO such as IT SHOW, COMEX and NATAS. Some events inside them may charge.
It was held in September for many years, but the race moved to October for 2026 and 2027.
