Venue guide
A month-by-month guide to the floral displays, light shows and seasonal programmes at Gardens by the Bay, with notes on what is free, what needs a ticket and how to get there.
Overview
Gardens by the Bay events fall into two groups, and knowing which is which saves money and disappointment. The first group is ticketed and indoors: the floral displays in Flower Dome, the Disney Garden of Wonder in Floral Fantasy, and the Jurassic World experience in Cloud Forest. The second group is free and outdoors: the nightly Garden Rhapsody light show, the Borealis light installation, guided walks and festival programmes held across the Gardens.
The calendar turns over often. Flower Dome changes its display every few weeks, so the headline attraction in October will not be the one in December. Floral Fantasy and Cloud Forest hold longer runs. The outdoor shows follow a fixed nightly or weekly schedule, with the music theme changing by month.
This page lists what the official Gardens by the Bay calendar confirms for October 2026 to March 2027. Where something is likely but unannounced, such as a Chinese New Year display in February 2027, we say so rather than guess. Check the linked source for each event before you travel, because dates and ticket rules can change.
What's on

Every week
Garden Rhapsody is the free light and sound show at Supertree Grove. The official page lists two shows every night, at 7.45pm and 8.45pm. The music changes by month: the 2026 schedule shows Opera in the Gardens in October, Garden Waltz returning from November into January 2027, and a Christmas Special after that. The Supertree lights switch off at 11.30pm each night.
Borealis is a free light and sound installation at Supertree Grove that recreates the northern lights. It runs every Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 8pm to 8.30pm and is cancelled if it rains during show times. Because it is a weekend programme, it is the answer many people want when they search for Gardens by the Bay events this weekend.
Nature and Sustainability Tours are guided walks held every Saturday and Sunday, mostly in the morning. Most are free. Selected tours include conservatory entry, and admission charges for non-residents apply to those.
Quick HIIT is a fitness session every Thursday from 7.30pm to 8.30pm at Waterfront Plaza in the Active Garden.
Cloud Forest featuring Jurassic World: The Experience is an ongoing ticketed exhibit of life-sized animatronic dinosaurs inside the Cloud Forest conservatory, with last admission at 8pm. The official page notes loud sound effects and flashing lights.
Festive season
The confirmed Christmas attraction is the Christmas Train Show in Flower Dome, from 20 November 2026 to 3 January 2027, open 9am to 9pm daily with Flower Dome admission. Garden Rhapsody also moves to a Christmas Special in the festive weeks.
Christmas Wonderland, the evening outdoor festival that ran from 29 November 2025 to 1 January 2026, has not been confirmed for 2026 on the official Gardens by the Bay calendar. Some third-party listings show 27 November 2026 to 3 January 2027, but those are tentative and we have not listed them as an event. If you are planning a Christmas Wonderland visit, wait for the official announcement and check the ticketing details, as outdoor festival areas may be ticketed separately from the free gardens.
Flower Dome
Flower Dome is the Gardens’ cooled conservatory, kept between 23 and 25 degrees Celsius, and it is where the rotating floral displays are staged. Each display usually runs for about a month, though the length varies. Sunflower Surprise is the current display.
The pattern is useful for planning. Displays are built around a theme or a partner country, and the Dome closes for a day each month for maintenance. The next closures noted on the official pages are Flower Dome on 6 October and Floral Fantasy on 13 October 2026.
Flower Dome shares the 9am to 9pm daily schedule of the other conservatories, with last admission at 8.30pm. Cards such as SAFRA, PAssion and OCBC credit and debit cards currently list a 10 per cent Flower Dome discount until 30 April 2027, per the Gardens’ promotions page.
| Free | Outdoor Gardens including Supertree Grove, Serene Garden and Heritage Gardens (daily 5am to 2am), Active Garden and Kingfisher Wetlands (daily 5am to 2am), and Bay East Garden (open 24 hours). Garden Rhapsody and Borealis are free to watch from the ground. |
|---|---|
| Ticketed | Flower Dome, Cloud Forest, Floral Fantasy, OCBC Skyway and Supertree Observatory. All open daily 9am to 9pm, with last admission about 8pm to 8.30pm. Each closes one day a month for maintenance. |
| Resident pricing | Disney Garden of Wonder at Floral Fantasy: adult S$12, child (3 to 12) and senior (60+) S$8. Non-resident adult S$24, child S$16. |
| Tripods | Tripods and camera stands are not allowed in Floral Fantasy. |
| Dining note | Satay by the Bay closes from 1 October 2026. Other dining options remain at the Gardens. |

Planning
For the light shows, arrive by 7.15pm. Garden Rhapsody starts at 7.45pm and 8.45pm. If you miss the first show, the second follows an hour later.
For the conservatories, go on a weekday afternoon. Conservatories are open until 9pm, so a late visit after the day’s heat gives you both the cool interior and the evening show at Supertree Grove. Expect more people at weekends and in the school holidays.
Check the weather. Borealis is cancelled in the rain. The outdoor gardens are open late, but the walkways are largely uncovered, so carry an umbrella.
Combine tickets. The official ticket page lists bundled admission for Flower Dome with Cloud Forest and for all three conservatories with the shuttle at a lower per-attraction price than the single tickets. A bundle promotion on the Gardens’ website runs until 14 March 2027.
Borealis runs every Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 8pm to 8.30pm at Supertree Grove, and Garden Rhapsody runs nightly at 7.45pm and 8.45pm. Nature and Sustainability Tours run every Saturday and Sunday morning. The current Flower Dome display and the Disney Garden of Wonder at Floral Fantasy are ticketed. See the month-by-month list above and the official calendar for the exact date you plan to visit.
The outdoor gardens, including Supertree Grove, are free. Flower Dome, Cloud Forest, Floral Fantasy, the OCBC Skyway and Supertree Observatory need tickets.
Garden Rhapsody runs daily at 7.45pm and 8.45pm at Supertree Grove. It is free to watch.
It was not confirmed on the official Gardens by the Bay calendar when we checked on 1 October 2026. The Christmas Train Show in Flower Dome is confirmed from 20 November 2026 to 3 January 2027.
Sunflower Surprise runs from 9 October to 9 November 2026. The Christmas Train Show replaces it from 20 November.
Gardens by the Bay station (TE22, Exit 1) leads directly into the Gardens. Bayfront station (CE1 / DT16, Exit B) connects by an underground linkway.
The official pages suggest about an hour for each of Flower Dome and Floral Fantasy. Add time for the outdoor gardens and an evening show.
