Five exhibition and convention centres host most of the fairs, trade shows and conferences in Singapore. This page explains what each one is for and how to pick the right one to visit.

What they host
Singapore’s exhibition halls are large, flexible spaces that change layout from one week to the next. A hall that holds a baby fair on Saturday can hold a logistics trade show on Tuesday. The same centres also run conferences, congresses, fan conventions and ticketed concerts, so the calendar at any one of them is mixed.
The five centres below cover the full range, from the city-centre convention space at Suntec to the 40,000 square metres of indoor exhibition space at Changi. If you are looking for trade shows in Singapore, many of them land at Singapore EXPO, Sands Expo or Suntec.
A fair is open to the public. Consumer fairs, bazaars and fan conventions sell tickets to anyone, or let you in free. Singapore EXPO lists fairs almost every week, and the busiest time is usually the weekend.
A trade show is aimed at the industry. Many require you to register as a trade visitor, and some reserve their first days for trade only. At Suntec, for example, the Food Japan show lists its first two days as trade only.
Some shows combine both, with trade days followed by public days. Always read the event page for public days and opening times before you set out.

How to choose
Match the venue to your route. Suntec is in the city centre and is attached to Suntec City Mall, so most visitors arrive by train. Singapore EXPO is at Expo station, coded DT35 on the Downtown Line and CG1 on the East West Line. Changi Exhibition Centre is by the sea in the east, around a 10-minute drive from the airport according to Visit Singapore, so allow more travel time.
Check which hall and which day. A large centre often runs several events at once. The event page names the hall, the public opening days and whether tickets are needed. Our Singapore EXPO and Suntec guides list this event by event.
Register early for trade shows. Trade-only entry usually needs a business registration before the day. A fair that is open to the public lets you walk in or buy a ticket online.
Go on a weekday if you can. This is general experience rather than venue data, but free fairs tend to draw their longest queues at weekends.
Looking for a stadium night instead? See stadiums and arenas, or go back to all venues.
Singapore EXPO describes itself as offering over 123,000 square metres of interconnected event space. Visit Singapore describes the Sands Expo and Convention Centre as spanning more than 120,000 square metres across its whole complex. The two figures measure different things, so treat them as similar in scale rather than ranking them.
A fair is open to the public and sells goods or tickets to consumers. A trade show is for businesses and often needs trade registration. Some events run trade days first and open to the public later.
Many are held at Singapore EXPO, the Sands Expo and Convention Centre and Suntec. The Singapore Airshow is held at Changi Exhibition Centre.
Suntec is in the city centre, and Singapore EXPO has its own station, Expo (DT35 / CG1). Visit Singapore gives Changi Exhibition Centre drive times only, so check transport options with the organiser.
Some consumer fairs are free, and others sell tickets. Trade shows usually need registration. Check the organiser page for the event you want.
