Venue guide
National Stadium events from October 2026 to March 2027 run from The Weeknd, BIGBANG and BTS to Jay Chou and international football. The 55,000-capacity stadium sits at The Kallang.
The stadium
National Stadium events are the biggest ticketed nights in Singapore. The stadium holds 55,000 people, has a retractable roof, and handles football, rugby, cricket, athletics and concerts. Its roof carries around 20,000 LEDs that work as a giant screen.
It is part of The Kallang, the name now used on the district’s official website. For smaller concerts and shows next door, see the Singapore Indoor Stadium events page.
Before you book
Scale. A stadium night means 55,000 people in and out, and a large crowd to move through security and out again.
Comfort. The roof can close, and the venue describes comfort cooling for spectators, but you are still in a large open bowl.
Seating. Stadium concerts split the floor into standing and seated zones, and the stadium has stated age limits for standing at some shows. Check the seat map on the ticketing page for your show.
Ticketing. Ticketmaster Singapore sells most events here, and Live Nation Singapore lists BTS. Buy from the partner named on the venue’s own event page.

Getting there
Take the Circle Line to Stadium (CC6), which has direct access to the National Stadium. On event days stations and roads are busier, so The Kallang advises arriving early.

The Kallang's Getting Here pages name these car parks but do not publish rates, so none are shown. Check the Sports Hub parking FAQ or the signs at the car park entrance before you drive; event-day rates and availability can differ. Last checked 1 October 2026 on thekallang.com.sg.
Queueing and bag rules
The rules below come from The Kallang’s event pages for the Guns N’ Roses and The Weeknd concerts at the National Stadium. Rules are set per event, so read the entry rules on the page for your own show.
Security checks for The Weeknd start at 5:30pm for standing and 6pm for seated ticket holders, and doors open at 6pm. That pattern, with checks beginning before doors, is worth planning around for any stadium show. Arrive early, carry the smallest bag you can, and keep your ticket ready on your phone.
Food
Kallang Wave Mall sits between the stadiums and Stadium MRT, so it is the natural place to eat before a show, with cafes and casual restaurants. The Kallang has announced enhancement works at the mall, so the line-up of shops may change; check the mall’s own directory on the day, and expect queues in the two hours before a big concert.
Because outside food and drinks are barred at stadium concerts, eat before you go through security. The mall is the practical place to do it, and it also hosts the Grab and taxi pick-up points, so it doubles as a meeting spot. Queues at popular outlets build quickly before big shows, so go early or eat after the gates open.
