How we collect, use, share and protect personal data when you use Events Singapore, in line with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). Last updated 1 October 2026.
Events Singapore (eventsingapore.com) is an independent guide to Singapore’s venues and events, and a matching service for people planning events. For any question about this notice or your personal data, contact our Data Protection Officer at admin@eventsingapore.com.
Enquiries. When you send an event enquiry we collect your name, email address, phone number, company (if given), and the details of your event: type, date, guest numbers, budget, venue preferences, services needed and any notes you add. We also record the page you enquired from and the time you gave consent.
Browsing. Like most websites, our hosting and analytics may record technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. We use this to keep the site secure and understand how it is used.
Maps and third-party content. Venue pages show embedded Google Maps, and some event listings show images loaded from the organiser’s own website. When these load, Google or the organiser’s site may receive your IP address and set cookies under their own privacy policies.
We use enquiry details to understand what you are planning and to match you with suitable partners. With your consent, we share your enquiry with up to three partners, such as venues, event planners or specialist suppliers, so they can contact you about that event. Partners may only use your details to respond to your enquiry.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for unrelated marketing. We may disclose data where required by law.
We keep enquiry records for up to 24 months so we can follow up on your event and handle any questions about it, and then delete or anonymise them, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
You can ask to access or correct your personal data, or withdraw your consent to us using or sharing it, by emailing admin@eventsingapore.com. If you withdraw consent, we will stop sharing your enquiry and let partners we have already shared it with know. We will respond within 30 days.
We protect personal data with reasonable security measures, including restricted admin access to enquiry records.
We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
